  Les Heures Claires
Paraline and Perspective Drawings
Fall 1998 (Sara Weiner)

This plan oblique drawing shows the formal organization of Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye. The original drawing was constructed on watercolor paper and then transferred to trace paper, which was then laminated with strips of duct tape. The resulting superimposition of precise geometry and textural backing begins to suggest an architecture that is more ad hoc than it overtly admits.
