Of the significant themes in my work, the most prominent is the emphasis on geometry. For me it's a pursuit which has followed a trajectory leading from analytical hardline drawings to experimental digital models. I feel that geometry is natural to architecture and it's something that I continue to pursue on both a technical and theoretical level. A project such as Meganamorphosis or the work produced for the Andrew Zago Drawing Workshop are excellent examples of this technical-theoretical approach. As a designer I'm committed to looking outside the profession for many of the influences that shape my work. My thesis project -- Pictures Maps Shadows -- is the best example of the external gravity that I often allow to guide a project. It also demonstrates my dedication to cross-disciplinary collaboration, and I feel is proof of the value in that way of working. If you have any questions or comments about the work shown here, please send me an email. |
