Released June 2006
In 2006 KnollTextiles introduced two wallcovering collections by guest designers -- Grammar by graphic designer Abbott Miller and Parallel Lines by LTL. The LTL collection is characterized by excessive linework, hand drawn and digitally manipulated to create fields of obsessive drawing. It can be seen as an extension of the trademark representational techniques that LTL explored in Situational Normal.
The collection is comprised of three patterns -- Vector, Margin and Perimeter. The image at the right is from the cover of the KnollTextiles brochure, and shows some of the original linework that was scanned in to produce Margin.
