Woman Suffrage Memorial

I helped with fabrication and assembly of the Woman Suffrage Memorial at the State Capitol in Saint Paul. The memorial was designed and built by Loom, a Minneapolis- and Berkeley-based collaborative led by Ralph Nelson and Raveevarn Choksombatchai. The memorial itself is a stainless steel trellis devoted to pivotal women of the Minnesota Suffrage Movement. It acts as a timeline, with each vertical element marking one year in the suffrage movement and each horizontal element corresponding to the lifeline of a woman suffragist.
