This image -- from a promotional postcard -- shows the Hull-Rust Mine in Hibbing, an open pit taconite mine in Northern Minnesota responsible for much of the steel consumed by Americans. This dramatic artificial landscape became the focus of a tour, a network of circulation for the insider and outsider to experience the landscape as existing material and saturated field. next
