The Fishing Project by Al Bersch, Leslie Grant & Nina Pessin-Whedbee in collaboration with fishers in Newport, Oregon The Fishing Project, 2009 We are working on a photography and oral history project about fishing in Newport, Oregon. We would like to collaborate with anyone involved in fishing on the Oregon Coast, including residents of the area. We are interested in personal histories and storytelling, visual and verbal, in the form of photographs, video, conversations, writing, historical documents, and anything else you can think of. The work will be displayed at the Oregon Coast History Center's Pacific Maritime & Heritage Museum in 2010. All photographs by Al Bersch and Leslie Grant unless otherwise noted. next |
